Your leaders are being asked to show up in formats they were never trained for.

Podcasts. Fireside chats. Conference keynotes. Industry panels. Television and video interviews. LinkedIn Live. The expectation — always — is that because they are accomplished professionals, they will be fine.

Sometimes they are. But accomplished and media-ready are not the same thing. Every format has its own rules. Its own pressure points. Its own way of working against you if you don’t know what you’re walking into. And most professionals have never received training specific to any of them.

On Record is the day that changes that.

This is a full-day, in-person intensive designed for corporate professionals and high-potential leaders in high-visibility roles — built around the five specific public-facing formats your people are actually being asked to perform in. Not a theory session. Not a slides-and-discussion workshop. A structured, practical day of real work — on your feet, in the format, with feedback that is specific, honest, and delivered in a room where it is safe to get it wrong before it matters.

What makes this day different

The methodology behind On Record is built on a single principle: you cannot think your way to presence. You have to practice it. Every participant spends time working in each format — not watching, not listening, not taking notes. Doing. And receiving feedback from a facilitator who spent over 24 years performing under the highest-pressure conditions Caribbean broadcast offers.

This is not a confidence workshop. Confidence is a byproduct of competence, and competence is built through practice. By the end of this day, your leaders will not just feel more prepared. They will be more prepared — with specific, observable skills they can apply the next time the light goes on, the chair is pulled up for a fireside chat, or the conference room falls quiet waiting for them to begin.

The day includes

Structured sessions across five high-priority public-facing formats — podcast interviews, fireside chats, panel discussions, conference keynotes and presentations, and television and video interviews including online and LinkedIn Live formats. Practical exercises in every session with real-time, individual feedback. A full sit-down working lunch — included — because the conversations over the table are part of the development. A deliberately small group to ensure every participant gets the floor time and the feedback they came for. And a room designed to be safe enough to take risks in — which is the only condition under which real growth happens.

Course Content

Welcome & Orientation (45 minutes | Morning)
We set the tone, establish the room, and have the honest conversation about what these formats actually demand. The foundation for everything that follows.

  • Welcome & Orientation

Format 1 — The Podcast Interview
How to be a guest worth listening to. Structure, quotability, pacing, and the voice work that carries authority when there is nothing else to carry it for you.

Format 2 — The Fireside Chat
The format that looks relaxed and isn't. How to stay compelling and in control when the structure is loose and the audience is watching everything.

Format 3 — The Panel Discussion
How to hold your position in a room that's already moving. Entry, authority, pushback, and the pause that signals confidence rather than uncertainty.

Working Lunch (60 minutes | Included)
Lunch is included and it is part of the day. The table is where the morning settles and the afternoon begins.

Format 4 — Conference Keynotes & Presentations
How to command a room, not just fill it. Opening, structure, physical presence, and the ending people actually take home with them.

Format 5 — Television, Video & Online Broadcasts
What the camera sees that you don't. Composure, eye contact, the bridge technique, and on-camera practice with real playback and feedback.

Integration & Close
Pulling the day together. Individual reflection, peer acknowledgement, and the path forward for professionals ready to go deeper.
